Job summary

Cabico is seeking a skilled painter to join our production team in the Sherbrooke area. You will use spray guns to apply paint, stain, and finishes to cabinetry and components, ensuring adherence to colour samples and quality standards.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week with an evening shift 3:45 p.m. to 1:45 a.m., a starting hourly wage of CAD 23.36 plus a CAD 2.00 evening premium, and comprehensive benefits. We value respect, teamwork, commitment, and pride in craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience painting cabinetry, wood products, or similar materials (Asset).
• Knowledge of wood types, stains, varnishes, paints, and other finishing materials (Asset).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
• Comfortable working in a dusty environment with exposure to varying temperatures and strong odours.

In this role, you will use spray guns and related tools and equipment to apply paint, stain, and other finishes to cabinetry and cabinet components. As part of our production team, you will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, appearance, and durability.
