Job summary

AGI Rosenort in Rosenort, Canada is seeking a Class 1 Driver for long-haul routes. You will operate well-maintained trucks assigned to you, maintain safety standards, and manage cargo documents. The role emphasizes home weekends and a supportive logistics team.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 1/AZ license with a clean five-year abstract, 1–3 years flatbed/open deck experience, and strong communication skills. US travel possible for long-haul trips.

• Clean driving abstract for at least 5 years
• 1-3 Years of Flatbed/Open Deck experience

• Reliable, flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors
• Comfortable reversing into tight spaces
• Bondable and legally able to work in Canada
• Passport with ability to travel to US for long haul trips

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods.
• Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
