Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Moncton, Miramichi, or Fredericton NB is seeking Professional Class 1 Drivers for Grocery Highway operations on night shifts. You will transport grocery freight safely across the Maritimes while delivering excellent service. Shift Mon-Fri, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Full-time role with competitive hourly pay, bonuses, and strong safety culture. Requires valid Class 1 license, clean abstract, and 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with no restrictions.
• Clean driver's abstract.
• Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.

Armour Transportation Systems is currently seeking Professional Class 1 Drivers (Night shifts) for Grocery Highway operations based in Moncton, Miramichi, or Fredericton. As a Grocery Highway Driver, you will play a key role in delivering grocery freight safely and efficiently throughout the Maritimes while providing exceptional service to our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Perform highway runs primarily to transport grocery freight between terminals and customer locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely operate Class 1 equipment in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Load and unload freight with care and accuracy.
• Complete required documentation and scanning using handheld devices.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely, reliable service.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment.

What You’ll Need

• Valid Class 1 license with no restrictions and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Minimum 2 years of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Strong understanding ofhighway operations and regional routes.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to an as‑needed schedule.
• Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.
