Job summary

Blackline Civil Inc. is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to operate tandem trucks on civil construction projects around Edmonton. You will support earthworks, utilities, and site development while coordinating with crews to maintain efficient operations.

This role offers competitive wages with overtime, benefits after probation, and home every night as part of a consistent schedule. You will drive well-maintained Kenworth tandem trucks and have access to on-site mechanical support.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License and a clean 3-year driving abstract.
• Minimum 3 years of civil or construction driving experience.
• Experience with manual transmissions (18-speed).
• Comfortable with long hours and shifting schedules.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tandem trucks on job sites and haul routes.
• Transport materials such as soil, gravel, and aggregates.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Work alongside crews, operators, and supervisors.
• Maintain clean and safe equipment.

This role supports earthworks, underground utilities, and site development projects, working closely with crews to keep operations running efficiently.
