Job summary

Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc. in Edmonton is hiring experienced Class 1 & 3 drivers to join our local team. You will haul topsoil, gravel and construction materials across Edmonton and surrounding areas, with a Monday–Saturday schedule and home every day.

We offer a seasonal position with a strong safety culture, the chance to work with veteran civil and landscape crews, and opportunities to gain experience on a variety of projects. A clean driver’s abstract and the right license are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license.
• Experience driving gravel trucks or tandem is preferred.
• Strong focus on safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Haul materials to various work sites in Edmonton and surrounding area.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient deliveries.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks.
• Maintain accurate logs of materials and deliveries.

Wilco is looking for experienced Class 1 & 3 Drivers to join our growing team. If you're an experienced driver who takes pride in operating safely, knows how to work around busy residential construction sites, and wants to be part of a professional team, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll be responsible for hauling topsoil, gravel, and other construction materials, often working in confined residential areas where experience, awareness, and safe equipment operation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Haul materials to various work sites in Edmonton and the surrounding area in a timely and safe manner
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely deliveries
• Knowledge of truck routes and City of Edmonton
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections utilizing app (Nektar)
• Maintain accurate logs of materials and deliveries
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to self load with a loader an asset
• Follow all traffic regulations and company driving policies and procedures
• Ensure proper securing of all loads prior to transportCommunicate effectively with team members, superiors, and clients
