Job summary

PepsiCo in New Glasgow, NS is hiring a Class 1 Delivery Driver - Full-Time to ensure timely delivery of our brands across Canada. You’ll operate under a Mon-Fri 6am-4pm schedule with competitive hourly pay of $32.53 and eligibility for health and dental benefits.

You’ll build relationships with account contacts, deliver and unload products, process invoices, stock shelves, and set up promotions while maintaining safety and compliance on the road. Physical work and independence are key.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills and ability to work with customers.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class 1 CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Physically fit and able to perform job duties.
• Self-motivated with ability to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with primary contacts at each account as a PepsiCo ambassador.
• Provide accurate, timely product deliveries and unload products as directed by the customer.
• Process invoices and handle daily settlement of accounts.
• Stock and rotate product across environments, merchandising to standard.
• Build displays and set up promotional materials like pricing signs and banners.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Perform duties safely and in compliance with laws and transportation regulations.

Location: New Glascow & Truro, NS

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-4pm

Physical demands and working conditions:

• You can lift/carry large loads up to 50 lbs repetitively throughout an 8-10 hour day
• You can maneuver large loads by hand and with use of various aides, requiring a wide range of physical agility, flexibility, and strength
• You will be exposed to a variety of weather and temperature ranges, and you will safely operate the equipment during poor road and driving conditions

Qualifications

• You have excellent people skills and know how to work with customers
• You have a High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma or Equivalence
• You must have a valid Class 1 CDL driver’s license with air brake endorsement
• You must have a clean driving record
• You’re physically fit
• You are self-motivated and can work under minimal supervision

Additional skills you may have (not required, these are assets)

• Flexibility to work extended hours and overtime
• Ability to drive manual transmission
