Job summary

Manitoulin Transport in Whitehorse, Yukon is hiring a full-time Class 1 driver to support our growing North American freight network. You will start at 7:30 am, Monday to Friday, and be responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering freight to customers while maintaining safety and on-time performance.

The role requires knowledge of vehicle pre/post trips, compliance with ELD and TDG/WHMIS, strong customer service, and the ability to lift over 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license is required.
• Knowledge of Whitehorse area is an asset.
• Ability to complete proper pre/post and inter trips.
• Knowledge of ELD, hours of service, load securement, TDG, and WHMIS.
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must be reliable, dependable, and hardworking.
• Must provide a clean criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references.

Responsibilities
