Job summary

Southern Cross Health Insurance is seeking a proactive Claims Assessor to join our Hamilton team. You will evaluate pet insurance claims, determine coverage, and uphold service excellence with accuracy and empathy.

This role requires meticulous attention to policy details, fast decision-making, and a collaborative, agile approach to work. You will contribute to customer satisfaction while supporting your personal and professional growth within a values-driven environment.

We are looking for Claims Assessor superstars to join our claims assessing team in Hamilton.

You will have a professional and proactive nature, coupled with strong attention to detail that enables you to make strong decisions.

You will assess claims and support our customers with their pets
  • Analysing claims and deciding whether they are covered by our policies
  • Delivering operational excellence by achieving fair, accurate outcomes for our customers
  • Supporting a world class service for our customers through a decisive and fact-based approach
  • Working at pace to maintain a rapid claims turnaround time

  • Having a real passion for the care of our customers and their pets
