We are actively hiring a Senior Claim Advisor, Accident Benefits, responsible for handling first-party injury claims.

Accountabilities :
  • Interpret insurance policies, determine coverage, and set reserves on Accident Benefit claims
  • Investigate, negotiate, and settle claims via phone, in person, or written correspondence
  • Follow Allstate policies and legislative requirements
  • Document files thoroughly
  • Settle claims within authority limits and escalate as needed
  • Manage customer service expectations and take ownership of customer issues
  • Maintain an appropriate caseload
  • Communicate professionally with claimants, vendors, medical professionals, and lawyers
  • Collaborate with team members
Qualifications :
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent
  • 2-4 years relevant Accident Benefits experience
  • CIP designation or pursuit preferred
  • Insurance knowledge in injury claims, medical rehab, and terminology preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • French proficiency is an asset
