Claims Adjuster - Transportation Equipment & Cargo, HYBRID (Toronto, ON)

ClaimsPro’s Transportation, Equipment & Cargo (TEC) Unit is seeking experienced adjusters across Canada to join our growing team. Qualified candidates from anywhere in Canada are encouraged to apply.

Our TEC unit provides specialized claims services for the Transportation, Equipment, and Cargo industries, including Collision, Cargo, Total Loss and Salvage Valuations, Environmental Management, Liability and Subrogation Management, Bodily Injury Case Management (BI Tort, Accident Benefits), and CGL Investigations. We also handle Trust Account administration for fleet operations in both English and French.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a proven client base, and a track record of:

• Marketing directly to insurers, brokers, and risk managers
• Interpreting complex coverage conditions and exclusions
• Writing detailed reports and analyzing claim data professionally
• Managing consultants, appraisers, lawyers, forensic accountants, engineers, and other experts to ensure timely claim resolution

Additional qualifications include professional claims designations such as FCIP, CFEI, CLA, FCIAA, or equivalent, along with extensive experience in:

• Physical damage to power units, trailers, equipment, and cargo
• Theft and fraud investigations
• Environmental spills and pollution related to fuel and transport
• Subrogation
• Liability and Bodily Injury investigations
• Transport-related property claims (warehouses, terminals, maintenance facilities)
