Job summary

Bronte Construction, based in Ontario, is seeking a Civil Engineer with project management experience to lead complex projects. You will direct teams, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to deliver quality results.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, 3+ years of PM experience, and a solid grasp of contracts and technical writing. P.Eng. is an asset; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in Civil Engineering and Project Management.
• P. Eng. (Ontario) designation - asset.
• Strong project management and technical skills.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Contracts.
• Strong technical writing skills; experience in reports and proposals.
• Effective verbal communicator including presentation, facilitation and listening skills.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Strategic, analytical and practical thinker.
• Credible knowledge of municipal, provincial and design standards.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects including team direction, coordination, monitoring schedules, and budgets.
• Communicate with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public.
• Direct and review work to ensure accuracy of projects and submittals.
• Oversee financial, schedule, and scope management of projects.
• Lead staff for technical project activities and staff development.
• Liaise with clients.
