Role description:

Arcadis’ GTA offices are searching for a Civil Project Engineer to join its growing team. This position will be working in a multidisciplinary environment, on a variety of projects. As a Project Civil Engineer you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects in the Infrastructure and Land Development space. You will ensure these projects comply with safety standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines, while managing budgets and timelines. You will also collaborate with other Engineers, Architects, Contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Role accountabilities:

• Researching, compiling and evaluating project data
• Preparing technical reports such as Functional Servicing Reports and SWM reports
• Performing design calculations for Storm, Sanitary and Water
• Coordination with Global Excellence Center to meet deliverables with some CAD work on occasion
• Potential site visits for data collection and observation
• Complete other administrative duties as required
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer or eligible to be licensed
• 5+ years of proven professional experience in civil infrastructure/ land development
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
• Experience in technical software including AutoCAD, Civil3D
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract

The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $105,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
