Job summary

The City of Prince George is seeking a project manager to oversee capital projects in the Utilities portfolio, including district energy, water, sanitary and storm sewer systems. You will lead project initiation, detailed design, construction administration and closeout, and provide technical support to operations with CMMS and asset management.

A two-year diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, AScT eligibility, two years of civil engineering experience, and a valid BC driver’s license are

Qualifications

• Two-year post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
• AScT designation or eligible for out-of-province equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of civil engineering experience including municipal construction project management.
• Full privilege Class 5 BC driver's license or out-of-province equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of capital projects in the Utilities portfolio.
• Manage project initiation, detailed design, construction administration, inspection, and closeout.
• Provide technical support for operational aspects of utilities (District Energy, water, sanitary, and storm sewer).
• Support asset management documentation and CMMS maintenance for operations.
