Civil Engineering Technologist

We have an opening for a candidate to assist us in making a real difference for the land, the people, and the communities of First Nations.

We are looking for an individual who is a critical thinker, passionate about improving society, and committed to delivering quality, sustainable, and socially responsible design solutions.

Responsibilities and Skills include:

1. Prepare reports, maps, drawings, and plans.
2. Knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Office 365.
3. Assist with functional and detailed design (CAD design) of municipal infrastructure related to water supply, sewers, roads, land development site servicing, drainage, and waste management.
4. Problem-solving skills: managing budgets and deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and making decisions to stay within project budgets.
5. Knowledge of topography: conducting field surveys, understanding roadway layouts, topographic surveys, quantity surveys, and erosion control plans.
6. Design: creating sketches of designs to scale, performing necessary calculations, and developing project layouts.
7. Data analysis: analyzing relevant data such as survey results, budget plans, calculations, and measurements to create accurate layouts and plans.

Salary will start at $75,000.00.
