Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Civil Engineering EIT to join the Municipal Infrastructure Group.

You will contribute to the design and construction of a wide range of municipal and linear infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to civil, structural, traffic, environmental, geotechnical, foundations, pavement, rail, and electrical disciplines. You will assist in preliminary and detailed designs, prepare drawings with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, support

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering graduate with at least 3 years' experience in civil or municipal design for linear infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads, and MS Project.
• Aptitude for applying Ontario and/or TAC geometric design standards for roads and underground utilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver high quality results on time.
• Valid Class G Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preliminary and detailed civil and municipal design for linear infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and update drawings and technical documentation using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
• Support development of contract packages including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities for compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety.
• Coordinate with external agencies, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and construction personnel to support project delivery.
