Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Toronto seeks a Civil Engineering EIT to support municipal infrastructure projects across design and construction activities. You will contribute to a range of disciplines, from roads to utilities, and help deliver projects on schedule with a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with 3+ years of municipal/linear infrastructure design and are proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering graduate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil or municipal engineering design for linear infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads, and MS Project.
• Aptitude for applying Ontario and/or TAC geometric design standards for roads and underground utility projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of preliminary and detailed civil and municipal engineering designs for linear infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings and technical documentation using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
• Support the development of contract packages, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with external agencies, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and construction personnel to support successful project delivery.
