Job summary

Turgeon Mines Experts inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead major dam and tailings facility construction projects from conception to delivery in the mining sector.

You will supervise civil works design, validate plans, and manage budgets and schedules while coordinating engineers, subcontractors and workers on site. The role requires a civil engineering degree and at least 3 years of project leadership experience in mining infrastructure, with strong proficiency in Autocad, Civil 3D and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing major civil infrastructure projects (mining focus ideal).
• Proficiency in Autocad, Civil 3D and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise dam and tailings facility construction projects, from design to delivery.
• Ensure the technical design of civil engineering works by carrying out calculations and validating plans and specifications per standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources to ensure efficient execution and client alignment.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, subcontractors and workers.
• Maintain communication with customers, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure project synergy and success.
• Produce technical and progress reports for management and clients.
• Perform related tasks as needed.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and carrying out major dike and tailings facility projects. Your expertise and leadership will ensure the success of projects, from conception to completion.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Plan, coordinate and supervise the execution of dam and tailings facility construction projects, from design to delivery;
• Ensure the technical design of civil engineering works by carrying out the necessary calculations and validating plans and specifications in accordance with current standards;
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources to ensure efficient execution in line with customer expectations;
• Coordinate the multidisciplinary teams involved in the project, including engineers, subcontractors and workers;
• Maintain constant communication with customers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure project synergy and success;
• Produce technical and progress reports for management and customers;
• Perform all other related tasks associated with the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing major civil infrastructure projects, ideally in the mining sector (dams and tailings ponds);
• Proficiency in Autocad, Civil 3D and MS Project;
• Solid expertise in team management and coordination of complex projects;
• In-depth knowledge of standards and regulations applicable to dykes and tailings management facilities;
• Mobility for occasional trips to different mining sites.
