Your Role

1. Conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for various Land Development projects including subdivision and site plan developments, such as site grading, pipe design, local road design, and ESC design.
2. Coordinate with technical resources within the land development group as projects demand.
3. Prepare, review, and seal engineering drawings, technical memos, reports, construction plans, and specifications.

Description

GEI is seeking engineering professionals to contribute to the growth of its land development infrastructure and water resources team, working collaboratively with a talented group of design, management, and technical leaders. This position supports GEI’s land development engineering practice in our Markham, Ontario office, serving a variety of residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal projects.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

1. Design engineering for land development projects, including subdivision and site plans, covering site grading, pipe design, local road design, and ESC design.
2. Coordinate with technical resources as needed.
3. Prepare, review, and seal engineering drawings, memos, reports, and construction documents.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 4 years of industry experience.
• Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng.).
• Experience with residential subdivision and land development projects.
• Proficiency with analysis programs, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and related software is preferred.
• Strong work ethic, motivation, and experience in technical report writing and review.
• Commitment to technical excellence.
