We are looking to add an experienced Civil Drafting Technologist to our Design Production Team in Calgary office. Are you seeking a role that supports growth, development, flexibility, and mentorship? Let’s connect!

Contribute to:

1. Carrying out civil design tasks using Autodesk Civil 3D to help create vibrant communities in Calgary and surrounding regions.
2. Being part of a diverse and dynamic team with coaching and mentorship opportunities.
3. Translating high-level conceptual designs into fully constructed projects, from preliminary phases through to project completion.
4. Supporting engineering personnel in the field with design, drawing production, and/or construction specifications.
5. Working in a highly collaborative environment with our team of engineering, planning, and drafting specialists.
6. Ensuring quality control of your design work and that of others in the group.
7. Performing assignments with independent judgment and advising on technical challenges.
8. Assisting with project timeline coordination and meeting deadlines.

About You

You will ideally be a graduate of an Engineering Design and Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent program with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in civil design, including subdivision site grading, road design, and underground infrastructure. Preference for candidates with experience in land development, stormwater management, or local government projects.

Key skills include:

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Infraworks.
2. Excellent drafting skills and knowledge of drawing setup and production.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Attention to detail and pride in your work.
5. Effective communication skills.
6. Commitment to professional growth.
7. Registration or eligibility for registration with ASET or similar.
8. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent.
9. Familiarity with GIS and BIM360 is an asset.
