Job summary

Englobe Corp. is seeking a Civil Design professional to join our dynamic team in Canada.

You will develop concept-to-tender designs for civil infrastructure projects, leveraging AutoCAD Civil 3D to create corridors, site grading, and design surfaces, while coordinating with engineers and project managers to meet schedules and budgets. The role requires a diploma or degree in civil engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
• Professional designation or eligibility with APEGNB or certification with NBSCETT.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant civil design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in municipal servicing and site development projects.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and design practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices.
• Experience with site inspections, hydraulic design, or modelling is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
• Prepare concept, detailed, and tender-ready designs for civil infrastructure projects.
• Develop designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including corridors, site grading, and design surfaces.
• Produce quantity takeoffs and support cost estimating.
• Perform constructability reviews and identify design improvements.
• Analyze project data and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to meet project requirements.
• Ensure designs align with applicable standards, specifications, and guidelines.
• Participate in client and project meetings.
• Support project delivery within established budgets and timelines.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.
