Bowerman Construction in Port Alberni, BC is seeking a Civil Construction Labourer to join our growing, safety‑minded team on ongoing projects. We value energy, reliability and a positive attitude for field work.

This role involves following safety protocols, performing site tasks, operating small tools, shoveling and clean‑up, with advancement possible through learning pipe laying techniques. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to take and follow instruction.
• Professional demeanor when dealing with the public.
• Able to work outside in all-weather year-round.
• Ability to work as a team and independently when required.
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Valid provincial driver’s license.
• Two years’ experience in civil construction.
• First aid training available.

This position is compensated at an hourly rate. Employees are eligible for enrollment in our company benefits package following successful completion of a three month probationary period. Compensation will be determined by the successful applicant’s level of training and experience. Submissions will be reviewed and only short listed applicants will be contacted for interviews.
