Job summary

PRI is seeking a strong Civil 3D Designer/Technician in Surrey, BC to support our civil practice and hydro infrastructure work. This hands-on role takes a project from survey data through a complete 3D civil model and issued drawings, with emphasis on accuracy and standards compliance.

You will build 3D surfaces, manage terrain models, produce plan-and-profile sheets, and coordinate with engineers and survey staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Civil 3D drafting and modelling experience.
• Strong 3D surface and earthworks modelling skills.
• Ability to produce issue-ready drawings with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Model complex 3D surfaces and terrain for dams and water resources.
• Create plan-and-profile sheets and grading plans for infrastructure projects.
• Maintain CAD standards and manage data shortcuts.
• Coordinate with engineers and survey staff to realize design intent.
