Job summary

The CI Manager at GATX Moose Jaw leads Continuous Improvement efforts, championing SQDC and applying Lean methods to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role drives data‑driven problem solving and fosters a culture of continuous transformation across the site.

With a Master’s degree and 5+ years in analytics or facility management, you will supervise DVM, develop strategies, and coach cross‑functional teams to achieve measurable improvements in operations and performance at the

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, or MBA.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in analytical role or facility management.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, 5S, TPM, Kaizen.
• Strong cross-functional and cross-industry experience.
• Experience with Celonis Process Mining tool.
• Experience in developing Power BI dashboards.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Assess business opportunities and develop strategies.
• Evaluate industrial facilities to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures.
• Conduct studies on the reliability and performance of plant facilities.
• Analyze costs of production and eliminate waste; plan layouts; time studies and work simplification.
• Champion Daily Visual Management (DVM) within SQDC framework across all levels.
