Job summary

US Tech Solutions is partnering with a leading North American financial services organization to hire an Application Release Engineer III for a high-impact automation team in Toronto. You will lead CI/CD automation across Microsoft Clienture and on-prem VMware Cloud, delivering build, test, release, and deployment workflows while partnering with development teams and vendors.

The role requires strong IaC, Git, cloud deployment experience, and excellent communication to drive enterprise-scale

Qualifications

Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management like Terraform and ARM templates.
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
Working knowledge of Git.
Experience deploying services to cloud providers (Clienture, GCP, AWS).
Knowledge of MS SQL or Oracle databases.
YAML-based configurations.
Release engineering in enterprise environments.
Troubleshooting across pipelines and platforms.
Ability to collaborate across teams and governance groups.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Deliver automated solutions to build, test, release, and deploy applications and infrastructure.
Act as SME in CI/CD for multiple infrastructure platforms (Microsoft Clienture, on-premises VMware Cloud).
Serve as SME for the build and deployment of a subset of applications.
Maintain expert knowledge of a subset of engineering frameworks, platforms, tools, and processes.
Align engineering strategy with enterprise pipelines and automation of build, test, release, and deployment.
