Job summary

SteppingStones Tech in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a DevOps / Cloud Engineer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience to join an established international organization. The role covers cloud infrastructure, automation and software delivery across development and production environments.

You will build and improve CI/CD pipelines, work with Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and IaC, and contribute to documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or related role.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure.
• CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tooling.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers and modern deployment environments.
• Scripting and automation skills.
• Understanding of SDLC and deployment from development to production.
• Comfort working with developers and infra teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment.
• Work with Azure environments to ensure reliable, secure cloud infra.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and deployment with Infrastructure as Code.
• Use Terraform to manage repeatable infra environments.
• Support containerized apps and Kubernetes environments.
• Develop scripts to reduce manual tasks and improve ops efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers across the dev-to-prod lifecycle.
• Assist deployments across development, test and production envs.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infra and app issues and identify root causes.
• Help improve workflows, tooling and engineering processes.
• Contribute to DevOps best practices documentation.
• Collaborate across an international team on infra and software-delivery initiatives.
