Job summary

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a Chiropodist to join its North Oshawa Rehab & Foot Clinic as an Independent Contractor. The clinic at 1400 Ritson Road North, Oshawa, ON offers a state-of-the-art facility and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating lower extremity conditions, fitting orthotics, and educating patients. Registration with the provincial Chiropodists College is required; new licensed grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Registration with the provincial College of Chiropodists.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Chiropody/Podiatry.
• New Licensed grads are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat and manage lower extremity manifestations using a broad range of techniques and equipment.
• Measure, cast and fit orthotic devices as necessary.
• Provide patient education and advice as necessary to patients and their caregivers.
• Demonstrate clinical skills in assessment, general practice, biomechanics, wound management and patient education.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Chiropody/Podiatry
