Job summary

Elements Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in Oshawa, ON is seeking an experienced Chiropodist to join our growing multidisciplinary clinic. You will build a thriving patient caseload with strong referral support, clinical autonomy, and opportunities for long-term growth.

The Chiropodist will provide comprehensive foot and lower limb care, conduct assessments, plan and manage treatments, and educate patients on footwear, foot health, and prevention.

Qualifications

• Must be registered in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
• Diploma or degree in Chiropody or Podiatric Medicine from an accredited program.
• Valid professional liability insurance.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform foot and lower limb assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide routine and advanced foot care including nail care, callus treatment, corn reduction, and wound care.
• Assess and treat biomechanical foot conditions and gait abnormalities.
• Prescribe and manage orthotics when appropriate.
• Educate patients on foot health, footwear, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals within the clinic.
