Linck Child, Youth & Family Supports in Ontario is seeking a Children’s Services Worker for a one-year contract. The role carries protective and preventative duties under the Child Youth and Family Services Act, managing an adoption and children’s services caseload and providing assessments.
You will deliver therapeutic interventions, prepare reports, participate in court matters as required, and collaborate with families to ensure children's needs and rights are met.
Linck Child, Youth & Family Supports (“Linck”) requires one (1) Children’s Services Worker. This is a contract, full-time (70 hours bi-weekly) position lasting for a period of one (1) year.
The worker will provide protective and preventative service as mandated under the Child Youth and Family Services Act to families and children; assume complete case management responsibility for a combined adoption and children’s services caseload; assess child functioning; provide therapeutic intervention to children; provide protective services to children which includes: ensuring all of the child’s needs and rights are met; participating as required in Ontario Court of Justice matters pertaining to child protection or youth justice issues; preparing reports, correspondence and documents for internal and external use; providing a variety of services related to adoption.
