We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Childcare Worker to join our team and provide essential support within a foster home setting.

Position Overview

As a Childcare Worker at SFFA, you will play a key role in supporting the daily care and well‑being of children in a foster home. Your responsibilities will include a combination of childcare, light housekeeping, and assisting with transportation for family visits or outings. Given the dynamic nature of this role, flexibility and adaptability are essential to meet the evolving needs of the children and the family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, high-quality childcare in a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Coordinate and facilitate transportation for family visits, outings, and appointments.
  • Offer emotional and practical support to children and youth, ensuring their safety, well‑being, and development.

  • Adhere to confidentiality and professional boundaries while interacting with children, families, and colleagues.
