Job summary

Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a Program Manager in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The role leads teaching teams, plans developmentally appropriate lessons, and coordinates staff onboarding to support high-quality early childhood education.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years as a lead teacher, an associate degree in ECE, and experience with Creative Curriculum, while meeting state/local regulatory requirements and using common software tools to track progress.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Minimum of a CDA or TCC required.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Associate degree in early childhood education preferred.
  • Creative Curriculum experience required.
  • Knowledge of current state and local regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills across business software.

Responsibilities

  • Train teachers on curriculum, developmentally appropriate practices, and quality-rating practices.
  • Ensure classroom lesson plans are completed and implemented.
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding of new teachers.
  • Collaborate with Center Director to provide feedback, assess needs, and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure adequate classroom materials.
  • Develop and track teacher professional development plans.
  • Complete classroom observations and growth plans as needed.
  • Coordinate semi-annual parent/teacher conferences.
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist in summer camp execution.
  • Ensure all regulatory and company policies are observed in classrooms.

Position Available in the Richmond Hill and Savannah area


Hourly Pay Range: $19-$20/per hour


Pay is determined by the level of education and years of experience. Pay increases with continued education, performance and years of service.


Program Manager Responsibilities:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred

  • At least 2 - 5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility required.

  • Creative Curriculum experience/knowledge required

  • Must possess knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations.

  • Proficient computer skills in a wide variety of business-related software programs.

  • Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, and maintain state in-service requirements.
