Zusammenfassung

ShBr - Private home in Quebec is seeking a dedicated live-in nanny/household assistant to support a family. The role covers full household management, light cleaning, cooking, and caring for infants and children, in the employer's home. Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge, but not required.

You will work 30 to 40 hours per week, with mornings/evenings as per the family's schedule. French or English language ability is acceptable, and reliability and patience are essential

Qualifikationen

• Secondary school education or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in childcare or household management preferred.
• Work language: English or French.

Aufgaben

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Take children to and from school and to appointments.
• Tend to emotional well-being of children.
