Job summary

DataStealth.io is seeking a Chief Software Engineering Architect in Mississauga. You will own technical strategy and architecture for the DSP platform, while remaining hands-on 30–50% of the time to build the hardest components and prototype designs.

You will mentor senior ICs, drive secure-by-design practices, and lead the AI/ML strategy for security products, including cryptography and data protection across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior IC roles.
• Hands-on coding at the most senior level in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year technical roadmap and architecture for the DSP platform.
• Write production code in high-risk subsystems (tokenization, data paths).
• Lead applied research and prototyping to de-risk ambitious projects.
• Mentor Principal and Distinguished Engineers; drive architectural reviews.
• Set quality bar through code reviews and RFCs; provide technical leadership.
• Work across stack with Java, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, and Rust.
