Job summary

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) seeks a visionary Vice President, Philanthropy to lead fundraising growth and donor engagement across Canada. You will develop a national philanthropy strategy and build a high-performing team to secure transformational gifts with major donors, foundations and volunteers.

Reporting to the President & CEO, you will expand strategic partnerships, ensure accountability, and position NCC as a leading destination for philanthropic investment.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in philanthropy, development or advancement.
• Proven ability to close complex multi-million dollar gifts.
• Experience leading national or multi-regional fundraising programs is an asset.
• Strong donor strategy, pipeline management and stewardship understanding.
• Ability to work with CEOs, boards and influential volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute NCC's national philanthropy strategy and revenue growth.
• Grow donor base and create a robust pipeline of major gifts.
• Lead a high-performing national philanthropy team.
• Engage with senior volunteers, foundations and corporate partners.
• Represent NCC with philanthropists and partners across Canada.
