Job summary

Canopy Growth seeks a senior leader to head Innovation & New Product Development from its remote-first office in Ontario. You will drive consumer-led product development, manage a multi-year pipeline, and coordinate with Regulatory, Operations, and Marketing to bring new products to market.

The role requires 10+ years in innovation, portfolio management, and commercialization, with a focus on creating differentiated, consumer-centric offerings across cannabis and related categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, Engineering, Product Development, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree considered an asset.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in innovation, new product development, brand management, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the innovation strategy aligned with growth ambitions and portfolio priorities.
• Lead end-to-end new product development from concept to market launch.
• Oversee Stage-Gate governance, milestones, and resource allocation across initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Development, Operations, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing) to deliver launches.
• Identify scalable platform technologies and future growth opportunities.
