Job summary

Canopy Growth is seeking a Product Developer, Cannabis Innovations to develop and commercialize innovative cannabis products across vape, extracts, infused pre-rolls and edibles. This role bridges innovation strategy and product execution to bring consumer-led opportunities to launch-ready products.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on lab/kitchen experience, collaborate with Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Brand teams, and support Stage-Gate decisions. On-site in Canada.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
3–7 years in product development or innovation roles.
Experience in cannabis, food & beverage, or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine cannabis products across vape, extract, pre-rolls, and edibles.
Design prototypes, perform formulation testing, and support commercialization.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Regulatory, QA, and Supply Chain to launch products.
Contribute to Stage-Gate reviews and cross-functional decision making.
Evaluate ingredients, technologies, and supplier inputs to improve products.
