Job description

This role is a key position in our organization, responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations. The Accounting Manager will be the primary point of contact for all financial matters, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting, payroll processing, and trust accounting.

The successful candidate will have experience with full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, billing, and general ledger management. They will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor a team of up to 3 direct reports. They will be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365, and have experience working in a dynamic and rapidly expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including budgeting and forecasting
• Supervise and mentor a team of up to 3 direct reports, providing guidance and support as needed
• Manage payroll processing, including bonuses and special disbursements
• Develop and implement process improvements, identifying areas for efficiency and cost savings
