BGC London is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead organizational renewal, strengthen culture, and position the organization for long-term sustainability and impact. The CEO will report to the Board and Foundation boards, guiding strategy, operations, and community partnerships.

We are looking for a values-driven leader who can build trust, engage staff and volunteers, and advance the mission across London region communities.

Qualifications

  • Executive leadership experience in nonprofit/public/community sectors.
  • Experience leading organizational change or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong financial and business acumen: budgeting, forecasting, sustainability planning.
  • Experience partnering with Boards of Directors and governance relationships.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships with funders, donors, government stakeholders and communities.
  • Developing high-performing teams and fostering trust, accountability, inclusion.

Ahria Consulting is delighted to partner with BGC London in their search for a new Chief Executive Officer.

For 70 years, BGC London has been creating opportunities and building potential for children, youth, families, and older adults across the London region.

As one of Canada's largest Boys and Girls Club facilities, BGC London delivers a diverse range of programs and services that help individuals overcome barriers, build skills, develop confidence, and thrive within their communities.

Today, BGC London is entering an important new chapter.

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer who is energized by the opportunity to lead organizational renewal, strengthen culture, build trust, and position the organization for long-term sustainability and impact.

This is a unique opportunity for a values-driven executive leader who can bring people together around a shared vision, strengthen operational and financial performance, deepen community partnerships, and champion the mission of an organization that plays a vital role in the London community.

The Opportunity

Reporting jointly to the BGC London Board of Directors and the Boys and Girls Club of London Foundation Board, the CEO will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of the organization.

The next CEO will lead the organization through an important period of stabilization and transformation, with an immediate focus on:

  • Providing clear, authentic and transparent leadership
  • Enhancing financial sustainability and operational effectiveness
  • Building trust and strengthening organizational culture
  • Developing and implementing a new strategic direction
  • Strengthening governance and Board partnerships
  • Building strong relationships with staff, volunteers, funders, donors, government partners and the broader community
  • Advancing BGC London's reputation, visibility and impact

  • Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and sustainability planning
  • Experience working closely with Boards of Directors and navigating governance relationships
  • Success building partnerships with funders, donors, government stakeholders and community organizations
  • A proven ability to develop high-performing teams and foster a culture of trust, accountability and inclusion
