Adecco Canada is hiring an experienced Cherry Picker Forklift Operator for a Milton, ON warehouse. The role focuses on accurate picking and moving of products using an order picker forklift to fulfill orders safely and on time.

Facilities include 40+ hour work weeks with overtime, temporary-to-permanent potential, weekly pay, and vacation pay. Valid forklift certification and warehouse experience are required; applicant must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification.
• At least 1 year of experience operating order picker forklifts in a warehouse.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working at heights and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with staff and drivers.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Move materials within the warehouse using an order picker forklift.
• Load/unload goods and prepare orders for shipment.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and security protocols.
• Assist with truck loading/unloading and use slip sheet when unloading containers.
• Work independently and maintain efficient, accurate order picking.

Adecco is hiring an experienced full-time reliable and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Forklift Operator to join our client’s warehouse team in Milton, ON. In this role you will be responsible for accurately picking and moving products using an order picker forklift to fulfill orders efficiently and on time. Must be comfortable working at heights while performing material handling and order picking duties.

• Pay Rate: $21.00/hour and up to $22.50 after training period

• Location:Milton, ON

• Job Type:Temp to Perm | Full time (Must be available to work full time 40 hours+ Overtime Hours)

Forklift Operator Job Duties:

• Responsible for moving materials within warehouse.

• Perform a variety of physically demanding duties, such as manually loading and unloading goods.

• Follows all company safety, security, and housekeeping protocols.

• Loading trucks, offload trucks and able to operate a slip sheet to unload containers

• Must be comfortable driving and working in a fast-paced environment

Forklift Operator Requirements:

• Valid forklift Certification.

• At least 1-year experience of operating Order Picker forklifts in a warehouse environment

• Must possess previous warehouse experience and be comfortable with general labour including case picking, palletizing product

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Experience with slip sheet is an asset

• High energy, and ability to follow processes

• Strong communication skills to interactwith staff and outside drivers in dispatch

• Must be comfortable working at heights while performing material handling and order picking duties.

• Must be able to work independently

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
