Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a Chemistry Technician to support laboratory operations including sample preparation, instrument operation, and basic analytics. You will help with calibration, data recording, and ensuring compliance with GLP and ISO 17025 standards.

Located in the Kitchener/Waterloo area, this role emphasizes data integrity, PPE usage, safe chemical handling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Diploma or degree in Chemistry is preferred, with 1–2 years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Chemistry or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant laboratory or technical experience preferred.
• Familiarity with GLP and ISO 17025 is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and execution of routine laboratory experiments, tests, and analyses.
• Prepare and process samples according to SOPs while maintaining compliance with GLP and ISO 17025 standards.
• Operate, calibrate, and perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Accurately record, review, and manage data using LIMS and standard software tools.
