At Oxford Learning St. Thomas, we help students improve their academic and study skills in a small group setting. Our class sizes are small with a maximum of three students per teacher. Our teachers explain and guide students through the provided material while teaching crucial learning skills and having fun. You will have flexibility in how you deliver the material to each student (in fact, we encourage that!), but you must follow all Oxford Learning philosophies and methodologies (training will be provided).
You will not be required to lesson plan or create learning materials for students - we do that for you! Your role includes reporting on concepts covered and cognitive skills discussed, monitoring and reporting on student progress, and ensuring student programming moves at an appropriate pace. You must be comfortable teaching students in both French and English, as you will regularly be teaching students in English as well.
All classes at Oxford Learning St. Thomas take place during after-school hours, from 4pm - 8pm, as well as Saturdays from 9am - 12pm.
