At Sunrise, our Dining Services Coordinator is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the dining operations in the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:

1. Supervising the dining service team
2. Hands-on leader for all the dining service activities
3. Preparation of food
4. Managing the food inventory and supply budget
5. Complying with regulatory and sanitation standards and ensuring accordance with Sunrise menu programs
6. Hiring, training and scheduling

Qualifications:

1. Requires at least 2 years experience as a managing chef or cook
2. Sanitation certification and proficient in nutrition and therapeutic diets
3. Previous experience in managing and motivating dining service team members in a high quality dining environment is required
4. Handle multiple priorities
5. Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
6. Be competent in organizational and time management skills
7. Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
8. Computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new applications are also required
9. The ability to work weekends and a flexible work schedule
