Job summary

Walmart Canada in Ville de Quebec (2700 Boulevard Laurier, QC G1V 2L8) is seeking a Consumables Department Manager to lead daily department operations, coordinate associates, ensure shelves are fully stocked and customer ready, and guide tasks while maintaining merchandise standards.

You will schedule, train, and develop associates, uphold safety and cleanliness, and adapt to a fast‑paced retail environment including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead excellent customer experience through friendly service and guidance to product selection.
• Execute daily availability and merchandising tasks, including stocking and section work.
• Oversee price changes, features, and modular execution to maintain presentation standards.
• Coordinate sales floor coverage, recovery, and zoning to keep departments customer-ready.
• Manage associate scheduling and break coverage to support smooth operations.
• Train and develop associates, provide ongoing feedback to support performance and growth.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance by following policies and performing safety checks.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
