Job summary

WEPOINT Canada Développement is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of project delivery, from planning to close, ensuring deliverables are approved and resources managed to meet time and budget goals.

The role involves organizing, directing and coordinating human, material, financial and technological resources for medium to large-scale, cross-functional projects. Fluency in French is required and only Canada-authorized applicants will be considered.

Qualifications

• More than 6 years of relevant project management experience in large-scale contexts.
• Master's degree or postgraduate in project management (a plus).
• PMI PMP / MGP / ACP certifications.
• Experience in risk management and/or in a financial institution.
• Experience in a software integration project and platform change.
• Experience in the banking sector.
• Excellent communication in French (spoken and written). Only candidates legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop the unique project plan considering stakes, complexity, stakeholders and alignment with sponsor objectives; ensure coherence with the business vision.
• Collaborate with contributing managers to deliverables to meet business objectives and value within agreed costs and timelines.
• Provide functional supervision and coordination of internal and external contributors (integrator or others) involved in project delivery.
• Authorize change requests on resource plans and ensure quality governance and methodology.
• Develop risk analyses, impacts and strategies to manage project risk.
• Maintain accountability and status reporting to the sponsor, steering committee and other decision bodies.
