AG Inspired Cuisine in Niagara Falls, ON is seeking an exciting, dynamic and energetic cook to join our team in a farm-to-table atmosphere. The role offers a part-time schedule with a $22.00–$24.00 hourly rate, plus cash gratuities of $3–$4 per hour.

We provide paid time off, free gym membership, free parking, and staff discounts. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a passion for scratch cooking in a refined setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Scratch cooking is a must.
• Farm-to-table experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality standards at all times.
• Dessert and pastry cookery experience.
• Prepare and cut vegetables for service.
• Knowledge of classical French cuisine; cook to order.
• Cook items across the menu (veg, meat, fish, appetizers, desserts).
• Work unsupervised and manage your day.
• Open/close the kitchen.
• Adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Organize weddings and events.
• Clean and sanitize workstation.
• Use a dishwasher.
• Uphold AG standards of professionalism.
• Work at our farm.
• Wear a clean, sanitary uniform for each shift.

• Operates at the highest standard of quality at all times
• Dessert and pastry cookery experience
• Cut / clean / prepare vegetables for service
• Knowledge of classical French cuisine. Cooking to order of all menu items
• Knowledge of vegetable, meat, fish, appetizer, dessert cookery is a must
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own work day
• Closing / opening the kitchen
• Bringing a skill set that will make you successful in a fast paced environment
• Organizing weddings and functions
• Ability to clean and sanitize a workstation.
• Ability to use an automatic dishwasher
• Upholding AG standards of professionalism
• Working at our farm
• Arrives in a clean / sanitary uniform for each shift
• Flexible attitude that helps you thrive in a complex kitchen environment
