Job summary

Platinum Investments in Edmonton is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a station in HALO Bar | Bistro, with a Red Seal and strong culinary leadership. This full-time role includes mentoring junior cooks and ensuring high-quality, visually appealing dishes for events and daily service.

You will be part of a renowned hotel kitchen, delivering exceptional food experiences while maintaining safety and efficiency during high-volume service.

Qualifications

  • Red Seal Certification is required for this position.
  • High school diploma or GED + 3 years' experience in culinary, food & beverage, or related field OR
  • 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel or Restaurant Management + 1 year experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Line – run your station with precision and pride.
  • Hands-On Cooking – prepare and cook a variety of dishes with skill and creativity.
  • Team Motivation – support junior cooks and mentor them during high-volume services.

Are you a culinary rockstar with serious skills, a passion for the plate, and a drive to lead by example? The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel is searching for our next Chef de Partie—someone who’s ready to bring flavor, flair, and finesse to our award-winning culinary team.

This is a permanent full-time hourly position (minimum 30 hours/week) at $23.50/hour, plus gratuities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED

Education & Experience

  • Red Seal Certification in the Culinary Arts is required for this position
  • High school diploma or GED + 3 years' experience in culinary, food & beverage, or related field
    OR
  • 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel or Restaurant Management + 1 year experience
  • Previous experience in a hotel setting or luxury kitchen? That’s a strong plus!

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
