TO Live is seeking a Chef de Parti to join its Patron and Events Services team at Meridian Hall in Toronto. The role involves preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section, and working with a team of cooks on event-based menus.
You will participate in menu creation, ensure food safety and hygiene, train new cooks, and coordinate a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, evenings and weekends.
TO Live’s Patron and Events Services department is currently accepting applications for the role of Chef de Parti.
The Chef de Parti will work a varied schedule including weekdays, weekday evenings and weekends. Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be available to work any of the above. This is a unionized position; successful candidates will be required to join IATSE Local B-173.
This hourly position reports to the Executive Chef; and/or their designate and work with a team of 2 – 25 other cooks (event based). The role is based at Meridian Hall.
