Job summary

Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) invites applications for a General Labourer– Cheese Pack at ADL Water St., Summerside, PE. The role supports the Cheese Pack area with hands-on production duties, paperwork, and teamwork in a fast-paced food production facility.

This permanent full-time position requires reliability, detail orientation, and the ability to work rotating day and night shifts. ADL offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth with PEI’s farmer-owned cooperative.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable with attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete paperwork accurately.
• Able to perform physical production duties including prolonged standing.
• Willing to work rotating day and evening shifts.
• Experience in production, packaging, or recordkeeping is an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cheese packaging and daily production activities.
• Complete production forms and records clearly, accurately, and on time.
• Keep paperwork organized and report missing information, errors, or discrepancies.
• Follow work instructions, food safety requirements, quality standards, and safe work procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to meet production needs.
• Support other departments and perform additional production duties as required.
