Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Processes purchase transactions quickly and accurately, including deactivation of merchandise per the EAS program.
• Promotes sponsor programs such as credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Maintains safe work practices and a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and adherence to company policies.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educates customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
