Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Process purchase transactions promptly, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
• Promote sponsor programs, i.e. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensure safe work practices and keep a clean work area.
• Maintain cash register security and integrity through diligent cash handling and adherence to policies.
• Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
