Job summary

Roofmart in Laval, QC is seeking a dedicated Chauffeur to safely load, move, and deliver products while maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include crane inspections, daily maintenance checks, and ensuring organizational standards in store, yard, and on trucks. Experience with Class 1 driving and customer service is valued; training on securement and fall protection is available.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class 1 Licence and ability to provide current driver's abstract.
• 1-2 years of experience in the field.
• Load securement training (can be provided).
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - asset (can be provided).
• First Aid Certificate - asset (can be provided).
• Forklift/Moffett training - asset (can be provided).
• Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, moving, and delivering products.
• Perform pre-operational inspections, maintenance checklists, and lubricating the crane.
• Maintain clean and organized work environments in store, yard, and trucks.
• Strictly adhere to health and safety rules and regulations.
• Other duties as required.
